You know, I was quite surprised by the fact that I was able to get a decent bite to eat at the Casino Moosejaw Express Lounge. The casino and the hotel it was attached to looked like it came straight out of the 1980`s. For some reason, it reminded me of Chevy Chase and Vacation.
There were signs up all over the place that said no photos, so I made sure I didn`t take any pictures of the dated looking casino, just the restaurant/lounge.
The onion rings were fat and crispy, no complaints here.
Okay, so here's the surprise - my burger was actually a tasty burger. I know it was pretty decent because I wasn't even very hungry, but I found it good. They griddled the bun, which is something I really like. Not particularly healthy, but tasty....hahan there's nothing healthy about a cheeseburger, but if you noticed, I had mine with a salad....it's like the concept of Diet Coke.....what's the point?
It was a tasty burger, but for $7, it was a bit pricey. Yeah, it was in the casino, but I don't think they should be charging movie-theatre prices. The service wasn't particularly good because our server/manager not-so-gently reminded me no photos in the casino.
